I am a missionary on furlough and have been placed on a few teams at my home church while in the States. My heart is to be on the missions team. But I was told it is a conflict of interest. Keep in mind the team does not give me any personal donations. I was also not invited to a dinner the mission team resently had with a visiting pastor from another country also stating I was a conflict of interest. My heart is broken because all I want is to be involved in missions and to encourage others to be more involved. I'm having a hard time letting it go. I would love nothing more to be back in my mission country but for safety reasons I am on an extended furlough.

Heavenly Father expose the person/people who are causing division towards this guest. We know that there is no conflict of interest in making disciples. This speech is coming from an evil place. Give this guest a peace in their heart knowing that they are willing to serve you while being persecuted from within.. Lord give them courage and keep them protected in the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen!

Praying for the safety reasons to turn into peacefulness. Praying for your heart and for you to let your light shine and let God handle this legalistic situation that you happen to be in. Let your desire to serve lead you and don't worry about those who may want power and recognition. Keep your eyes upon Jesus and trust him.
