My prayer request is that my Dad will be able to find a job. He job is being terminated as of October 1st. He works as a civilian in the Air Force, and has served in the Air Force for twenty something years. There is another opportunity for a job in which he had a job interview today. He said it was okay, but he won't hear anything back in two weeks. My mom also has a job that she can take in the same area as the job my dad interviewed for, but she is afraid to go without him. This is a huge time of transition in my families life. I am a junior in college and my sister is now a freshman at the same school. It seems to me that God is pointing for their life to be in this new direction, but I just want His will to be done. I just also pray that my dad won't be come depress that this will make him stronger. My sister is homesick and she has no idea about the situation that is going on. It is stressing me out cause I don't know what going to happen so please pray for me to find peace. I know that God is control of everything. My parents believe in God, and my mom is looking for a sign. I pray that God gives her that sign. I pray that my dad gets the job. if they both move up into this new area, my whole family will be near each other. I think the hardest part is going to be losing my childhood home. I'm sorry that this prayer request does not make much since, but it feels good just to write it all out. I just want my family to be happy, and I know that God is looking out for us. Lord Jesus Christ, here the prayer of this daughter. I ask that you guide her parents and give them the peace of mind to make the right decision for their family. Sometimes you request change so as to "stretch" us. I pray that her father will find the right job and that he will be able to work to your glory. This young woman shows great faith and so reassure her of your presence as she prays to you. Holy Father, answer her prayer. AMEN.
