Please pray for me. I believe God is calling me toward a career in the ministry and, to be completely honest, I do not want to do it. Some of the worst things that have happened to me have happened at the hands of ministry leaders. I have a lot of emotional wounds that stem from my involvement in the Christian church. Please just pray that God will help me with this because I am a little sad that this is the calling that He has placed on my life. I just haven't had many good experiences with the Christian church and I'm very hesitant to become involved in it because of that.

Lord reveal to this child of yours that your church is all you have called, and have accepted you as their Lord and Savior not a group of people, nor a building or a specific doctrine, or religion. You know how many times I have also been hurt by Christian people and churches, but you know my heart and have showed me the way for me to serve you in truth and spirit. Do the same for this person, so they won't be crucified all over again like they did to Jesus by his own people. Give them your peace and the strength to keep on going with faith, and love for you alone and nothing else. I pray in your merciful name Jesus, amen.
