Appreciate your prayers for friends of ours Alan & Kathy. He was operated on for lung cancer at Garnet last Wednesday. Thursday night while still in the hospital he got up and collapsed. He has blood clots in his brain and in his lungs maybe his heart I'm not sure, but they airlifted him to another hospital after getting him stabilized which took a while, and he has had a stroke also. They are believers from our church. Kathy is down there with him. They were intending to do emergency surgery when he arrived on Thursday night, but the surgeon said there was too much damage and he couldn't do it. Right now we're praying for a response from him Alan that is hand movement any response you know. They were doing a CAT scan this afternoon and praying that the swelling in the brain would come down also, anticipating emergency surgery if it didn't. Needless to say he is in very critical condition. Please pray for him and his wife Kathy.

Update on Alan's condition, he had emergency surgery late yesterday to reduce the swelling in his brain. The surgery was a success and now begins the long road to recovery. Thanks so much for your prayers. Please continue to pray for him and Kathy.

Lord Jesus we thank you that Alan's surgery was a success, now help him recuperate completely to excellent health soon. Continue to give him and his wife Kathy your peace and the strength to finish seeing them through what they have been going through. May it all be done for your glory and honor and for their benefit, in Jesus loving name we pray, amen.

Lord give Alan and Kathy the peace that surpasses all understanding in this very difficult time
Heal and strengthen Alan according to Your will and timing, and give a new lease of life. Revive Kathy also and loved ones despite this storm
Be glorified in sickness and in health, for all things are possible with You
I ask You Lord for Alan to be made completely well
