Dear brothers and sisters in Christ please keep my elderly dad in your kind and faithful prayers. My dad James is going in Thursday morning for a very serious operation to correct a stomach aneurysm which is near to bursting. Please pray that the Lord is gracious and delivers him safely in this operation. Pray that the Lord would skillfully guide the hands of the surgeon and give the doctor Your wisdom and insights on how to proceed during the operation. Pray that my dad has a speedy recovery and help my dad to fully place his complete and total trust in You Lord Jesus. Pray that the Lord would give my mom strength and courage as we wait for the outcome of the surgery. Pray that she might rest in the Lord's peace that passes all understanding as we wait in the waiting room at the hospital. Thank you all for your wonderful prayers and your faithful love you have all blessed my family with over the years here.

Your concern for your elderly Dad and mom was evident in what you shared and be assured of my prayers for him, that the Lord will give your family the strength and patience needed during his challenging time and give wisdom to all the doctors and paramedical staff attending to him during the surgery. May God fill your home with His peace.

Loving Father- its so clear how much our brother David loves his Dad. This is a difficult and tense time Lord for all the family- yet in You all things are possible and even in this storm there can be the peace that surpasses all understanding. Bring peace to this Dad as he faces this trial- let him feel uplifted in Your love throughout all this until it is completed. Thank You Lord for these gifted surgeons- work through their hands steadily and skillfully until all is well. Give the gift of sleep to all to face this stormy time as they rest in You. I pray Lord in the name of Jesus for all to be well and for a new happy season to come- when this family can enjoy this precious time with each other, that we can so easily take for granted.

Jesus touch Brother David's father and fill him with your peace as he goes for this procedure. Guide the doctor's hands and help him come out healthier than ever, and recuperate soon. Lord we have faith you hear our prayers and answer them, in you merciful name I pray, amen.
