in need of prayer
I need prayer that God will strenthen my Faith, I need reassurance from him that im truly saved. I beleive that Jesus died for our sins and that he rose again and is living in heaven today. I've turned away from my sins that i use to commit(though sometimes i slip). i read my Bible and pray daily i can see a change in my life, but i just want God to let me know that im truly saved or what i have to do to become saved. I need to be saved before it's to late
thanks.

RE: in need of prayer
Hey Jeremy, I also struggled with that fear for quite awhile, but the beautiful thing is while you struggle with this, the Lord is actually strengthening you all the while, though we can't always see it. If you have asked Jesus to save you, He has. Remember the thief on the cross, all he did was ask Jesus to remember him on his very deathbed, and he is in heaven right now. The Lord said whoever comes to Him He will not cast out (John 6:37), He said that all who call on the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:9-13 , Acts 2:21). He said said He his mercy is more than enough (Psalm 86:5). He said the work the started in you He will complete (Phillipians 1:6). He is the author and finisher of your faith. He is your keeper and the preserver of your soul (Psalm 121). Father, please bring Jeremy peace that passes understanding, help him rest in Your grace and love and rebuke the enemy on his behalf, for Your name sake Lord set a banner over him, and may thank You that You rejoice over him and will bring him safely home, because no one can snatch him from Your hand. In Jesus name, amen
